Herschel Rescue provides technical rope rescue training solutions to Fire Departments, Police, EMS and Rescue Workers, as well as the private sector, the film industry and individuals who require rope rescue training for their own purposes.

Applications include: Hi-angle rope rescue, confined space rope rescue and water and ice rescue.

Although training is directed towards emergency situations in firefighting, rock climbing and swift water rescue as encountered by fire and emergency services;   Survivalists, outdoor adventurers and weekend warriors are welcome to attend all courses.

As well as being the founder of Herschel Rescue, Terry Harrison has been appointed to the Underwriter's Laboratories of Canada (U.L.C.) Technical Rescue Subcommittee and is now directly involved in setting the standards for Emergency Rope Rescue in Canada.
